As far as the poster release goes, here’s all the details. At the same time the show starts (10PM) The poster will be for sale in our store by clicking the “store” link above or visiting ssttf.bigcartel.com.

The gig poster is not your standard movie poster.  This is a 5 color screenprint printed on heavy stock paper.  Posters measure 16 X 26 and were hand-pulled by Tim Doyle and Nakatomi Inc.  There are 2 different versions. The regular and the variant.  The difference being that the variant has an extra layer of glow in the dark ink on it and is limited to only 50 prints vs. the 150 run of the regular.  ALL versions are signed and numbered by the artist Tim Doyle and both versions are available signed by the hosts as well if desired.  Out of 150 regular posters, 40 will be available signed by the hosts. Out of 50 variant glow posters, 20 will be available signed by the hosts.  All proceeds from the poster go to benefit TEAMFOX which is part of Michael J. Fox’s Parkinson’s foundation.

Finally!!! I feel like I’ve been waiting forever to finally get this print out in the open! Huge thanks to Slashfilm for debuting the poster and featuring the story. Without further ado, I present the Secret Show To The Future 2 gig poster!  They both go on sale on Nov 5th @ 10p East in the store. Here’s the regular edition:

Both versions are signed by artist Tim Doyle and proceeds will benefit TEAMFOX, a division of Michael J. Fox’s Parkinson’s foundation.

The regular version is a 5 color edition of 150, out of which 40 will be signed by the hosts. For the glow in the dark variant there is a run of 50 with 20 available signed by the hosts. All prints will be in hand day of show and will ship in sturdy .125 tubes wrapped in kraft paper.

These will be available THIS Saturday, November 5th at 10PM east, the same time that the show starts. Don’t forget, all you have to do to watch the Secret Show To The Future is visit this very website. We encourage ALL to pop in your copy of BTTF2 and watch along with us! We will give you cues when to start so you’ll be lined up with us at the same time. The entire video broadcast will be streamed live right here. Replays will be available afterward.

Due to some scheduling conflicts, Bob Kelly will not be able to join us on Nov 5th for the Secret Show To The Future 2.  I couldn’t decide at first whether or not to try at move the date or keep it but I’m going to keep the Nov 5th date and chug along.  I tried to find a replacement but with such short notice (we’re only TWO weeks away!), everybody already had booked gigs. If anybody has suggestions they can always leave us a comment here or on the shows official Facebook page at http://tinyurl.com/ssttf2. Joe DeRosa, Anthony Cumia and I will still be hosting and I will still be on the lookout for more guests to potentially join us. The original plan had both Bobby and Lazlow joining however getting everyones night to line up just wasn’t in the cards this time out.  I’d like to thank Bobby for initially agreeing to this and I know we’ll snag him for the next one of these that take place. Probably not online. Probably something YOU can get tickets for.  Probably gonna be awesome.

NOW. Onto the poster.  Tim Doyle and I have been going back and forth on this gig poster for about 6 weeks now, and I just saw a pretty final draft and it is totally awesome. We kept it “future” themed while trying to avoid all the typical “BTTF” hackiness that tends to become unavoidable. I may release a tease here or there so check back often!  Something I think I’ll mention now is that this print will have a variant and versions of both will be available signed. I wanted everyone to be able to get what they want and I think this works. So there will be a regular edition, a regular edition signed, a variant edition and a variant edition signed.  Be aware that the variant and signed variant will be extremely limited in production.  When will these be available you ask? Same time the show airs. Nov 5th at 10PM these posters will be available in the store at http://ssttf.bigcartel.com/. Please don’t forget, all the proceeds from this gig poster are going to TEAMFOX which is part of Michael J. Fox’s Parkinson’s foundation. It’s a great cause, a great reason to get some guys together and do a “Secret Show” and a great poster anyway! Show or not, I’d totally love a BTTF related poster like this.

For those who do not want to be left out and absolutely MUST have one of these prints I can only recommend to start F5′ing the store page 5 mins before the show and the second I have them up, you can be all checked out. The total run including variants will be under 200 and will never be reprinted. If you miss one, all you can do is check eBay.

Ok, Ok, I can’t resist. Here’s a little tease.

I know everyone is tired of hearing about it, but the Secret Shirts have been flying and more than half the run has been scooped up in presale.  If you want one, you better get one while you still can because I can pretty much guarantee these will sell out day of show if not before. As was mentioned earlier, 2 & 3XL are gone and there are under 20 of both L and XL remaining.

Very excited for this show, I really hope a lot of you join us LIVE as that’s where the real experience lives.  Replays will be available but watching Back To The Future 2 at the same time we are doing this show really adds a cool vibe to the whole thing and I’d like to encourage as many of you as possible to follow along with us in that way.  We will be giving you visual cues throughout the film so as long as you have your copy at home, you will absolutely be able to follow along.  It’s going to be a unique experience you rarely get to be a part of so closely.

With all the new visitors we’ve been getting I’d thought I’d just recap where we are and what this is. The first “Secret Show To The Future” was a one off radio special on XM Radio hosted by Anthony of “Opie & Anthony” and some of the staff members. The premise is simple. We watch Back To The Future and comment on it live, while you sync up with us and follow along at home and even participate.  A few years have gone by and now’s as good a time as any for another.

Currently, the Secret Show To The Future 2 will feature Anthony Cumia and comedians Robert Kelly and Joe DeRosa.  Still a few more guests to be announced.  While all this is good and fun, we thought that we could probably do some good out of it at the same time so we’ve commissioned poster artist Tim Doyle to style a “gig” poster for the event.  The screen printed poster will be very limited and the entire proceeds will be donated to TEAMFOX.
